The role of the North Star management team is threefold: first, to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and to protect the environment in which we operate; second, to provide fiscal oversight and forward-looking guidance to our subsidiary companies; and finally, to generate and pursue acquisition prospects. 

To facilitate the management of our companies and to uphold our commitment to our employees and to the environment, several broad functions have been aggregated at NSUG:

  • Executive Team including the CEO and the CFO overseeing the management of the operating companies within the group. 
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance.  These functions report directly to the CEO and have oversight responsibility for all safety and environmental issues throughout the organization.
  • Human Resources.  Centralized HR ensures that each of our subsidiaries has a workplace environment that is consistent with the values of NSUG and Saltchuk Resources.
